Board a scenic train from Da Nang station through the legendary Hai Van Pass — one of the world's great coastal rail journeys. Arrive at Lang Co and continue to Hue, Vietnam's imperial capital. Visit the royal Khai Dinh Tomb, the Incense Village, Thien Mu Pagoda on the Perfume River, and the grand Citadel. A lunch is included. Browse Dong Ba Market before returning.

Drive south to Hoi An and let everything slow down. Start with a basket boat ride through the Coconut Village canals. Spend the afternoon in the UNESCO Ancient Town — the Japanese Covered Bridge, lantern shops, and tailors of Tran Phu Street. As darkness falls, board a lantern boat on the Thu Bon River.

Ride the cable car to Ba Na Hills Resort, 1,400m above sea level. Walk the iconic Golden Bridge, explore the French Village and Jardin d'amour gardens, and enjoy Fantasy Park (included). A lunch is served at the resort. Pop Mart collectors — there's a shop here too.
